Dear Brides & Grooms to be,

Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to our site.

You might be wondering how all of this works. You know you want to get married, but where do you start? You've got the guy/gal. Now, how will you find the perfect place? And when you do, then what? You'll have to book the caterer, the florist, the musicians, the entertainment, the photographer, the videographer, your hotel rooms, your guests' hotel rooms, transportation, communicate with all of your guests and vendors, coordinate every last detail and hope that everything goes off without a hitch. Oh, yeah, and did I mention look FABULOUS and actually ENJOY your wedding day?

Seems pretty difficult and time consuming, even in your hometown. Now, do it in Spain where you don't really speak the language, everyone's on vacation all the time (at least it seems like it) and there's a nine-hour time difference - Can you say Haagen Daazs?

I know this scenario all too well. I once was a bride who wanted to marry in Spain. My friends thought I was nuts, and into the 4th month of searching for venues or a wedding coordinator on the internet, I started to believe them. Well, I got through my experience in one piece, married the man of my dreams (a Spaniard!) and learned a few things along the way. One of them being that Spain is a fantastic country with many assets to offer the couple whom wishes to marry there, you just have to know where to look and who to rely on. That's why I started Events in Spain.
